Your Role

Axians is looking for a Junior Installation Technician to join our team in Gothenburg.

You will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LAN and building networks in existing environments – ranging from offices and schools to other types of commercial premises.

The work is varied and often takes place while the business operations are ongoing. This requires you to work in a structured manner, show consideration for others, and deliver a neat, professional result.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation of network outlets (copper, Cat6A)
• Fiber cabling and basic termination
• Patching in racks and cabinets
• Mounting of network equipment such as switches, routers, and access points

You will have daily contact with colleagues, project managers, and customers.

Competency Profile

• Has technical education or a strong interest in technology
• Has basic knowledge of LAN, WiFi, or fiber optics
• Is solution-oriented and enjoys practical work
• Thrives in environments where you interact with customers and need to be service-minded
• Is detail-oriented and takes responsibility for your work
• Hold a valid Class B driver's license (required)
• Are a Swedish citizen (required, due to security clearance)
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written

Merits

• Experience from network installation or electrical/telecom work
• Internship experience within fiber optics or data communications
• Experience working on-site
