Here, you will work with advanced technology, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Sweden's fastest trains in a modern workshop environment. You do not need prior experience from the railway industry. About the role

As a train technician here, you become an important part of the daily maintenance of the X2 trains. You work in our modern depot in Olskroken and are responsible for ensuring the trains maintain the highest standards regarding safety, function, and accessibility.

The role is varied and combines practical work with technical thinking, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements. You work with both planned maintenance and fault repair, often in close collaboration with dedicated colleagues. Together, you ensure that the trains can quickly and safely return to service.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on X2 trains
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Car out checks, replacements, and adjustments according to maintenance plans
• Document completed work in our maintenance systems
• Ensure that work is performed according to current safety and quality requirements
• Participate in improvement work for increased operational safety and efficiency

Your profile

We are looking for you who have a genuine technical interest and thrive with practical work in a technically advanced environment. You are meticulous, responsible, and have safety as a natural part of your working method.

You may currently work as a mechanic, maintenance technician, service technician, electrician, or have experience from the industrial, vehicle, or workshop industries. Previous railway experience is meritorious but not a requirement.

We welcome both those with several years of experience in technical maintenance and those who are newly graduated with a strong technical interest and desire to develop within the profession.

We see that you have:

• Technical high school education or equivalent experience
• Experience in technical or mechanical work
• Good ability to work independently and in a team
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience working with railway vehicles
• Electrical competence and experience reading electrical diagrams
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical systems
• Knowledge in hydraulics or pneumatics
