Your Responsibilities

In the role of Security Technician at Elajo in Gothenburg, you will work with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and service. Commissioning of security systems may also be part of the role. We perform jobs for businesses, public operations, and property companies. You ensure that security solutions function optimally and that customer needs are always at the center. The position involves both independent and regulated work with varied projects in Gothenburg and the surrounding area.

Main Areas of Responsibility

• Installation, configuration, and depending on experience, commissioning of primarily burglary alarms, access control systems, and CCTV. Work with fire alarms may also occur.
• Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving on-site at customer locations.
• Ongoing service and maintenance of existing security installations.
• Close collaboration with project managers, electricians, and technicians for the best results.
• Documentation of completed work and reporting to project managers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Upper secondary education in electricity/technology, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least two years of previous work experience in a role as a security technician.
• Previous work experience in a commissioning role is meritorious.
• Competence in one of the security areas: burglary, access control, and/or CCTV.
• Experience in the security area of fire is meritorious.
• Experience with systems such as RCO, Aptus, ARX, or similar is meritorious.
• A valid B-driver's license is required.

To be considered for employment in this position, approval from a background check by the Swedish Police Authority is required. This position may involve undergoing a security clearance based on current regulations regarding security protection.
