Job Description
In this role, you will become an important part of the Vulcon team. The work is varied and combines mechanics, problem-solving, and a high degree of responsibility. Among other things, you will: • Weld, repair, and maintain conveyor belts – both in the field and in the workshop • Install wear rubber products and associated equipment such as idler rollers, impact bars, and scrapers • Perform service inspections, measure up plants, and select the right material for upcoming jobs • Plan and distribute service assignments together with your colleagues • Be a secure support for customers through technical support and solutions that last over time • Contribute flexibility and help out when the situation requires extra efforts to ensure a high service level to the customer. This is a job for you who thrives in a practical environment where you get to take responsibility, find solutions, and be close to the customers. You will work both out at the customer site and inside the workshop – a balance that makes everyday life both developing and fun. Working hours are normally scheduled Monday–Friday 07:00–16:00. Since the work is often performed at customer sites, deviations may occur, and you will follow the assignment until the work is completed in a safe and professional manner.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who want to grow in your role and who see the value in doing a really good job. You don’t need to know everything from day one – but you want to learn, you are curious, and you take responsibility for what you do. We see that you: • Have mechanical aptitude and experience with service, maintenance, or assembly. • Enjoy solving problems and finding ways forward even when conditions change. • Enjoy having contact with customers and build relationships by being secure and clear. • Are a team player who stands up for colleagues and enjoys working together. • Pick up new knowledge easily and are flexible regarding different tasks and work environments. It is also meritorious if you: • Have a B driver’s license (BE is meritorious). • Communicate well in Swedish. • Have forklift and/or crane certification and relevant safety training – or are willing to acquire them. Above all, we are looking for you with the right attitude: someone who wants to contribute, develop, and be part of a team where we help each other and make a difference for our customers every day.
