ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Installation Technician at KONE, you will primarily work with the assembly of new installations as well as the modernization of old and existing elevators. When working on new installations, you will mainly work on construction sites, installing new elevators in empty elevator shafts. When modernizing elevators, we replace old parts with new ones, requiring you to make old and new technology work together. Therefore, problem-solving and creativity will be a natural part of your daily routine. You will be proactive in ensuring that our equipment is safe and reliable. You will have the opportunity to work independently in a role with great freedom under responsibility, while simultaneously being part of a group of engaged and helpful colleagues, solving problems our customers may encounter. Building and maintaining good customer relationships will be an important part of your role, as you are the customer's first point of contact and expert in the field.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

• A completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on electricity and/or electronics
• Good tool proficiency
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and electricity
• Very good skills in Swedish (spoken and written), as well as good understanding of English (spoken and written).
• Category B driver's license

We consider it a significant plus if you have electrical knowledge, either through education or work experience, and/or previous experience in troubleshooting electronics. Of course, we will ensure you receive the necessary product training to succeed in the role.
