As a mechanic at EuroMaint in Åmål, you will have a varied and technically challenging daily routine where you contribute to keeping Sweden's rail-bound work machines in top condition. About the role

Maintenance and service work is carried out on rail-bound work machines at the depot in Åmål, and we are now looking for a mechanic with knowledge of electricity or automation. As a mechanic, you have a varied role and will work with everything from simple troubleshooting and service work in electricity and mechanics to vehicle modifications. In the position, you also perform self-controls and report deviations such as missed deliveries, risk observations, or operational disruptions.

The work is varied and involves both independent tasks and collaboration with colleagues. You work closely with experienced colleagues in an environment where safety and precision are crucial.

Your profile

We are looking for you with knowledge in electricity or automation. You have good mechanical skills and find it easy to read and interpret documentation and regulations. To succeed in the role, you are unpretentious, have good problem-solving skills, and a high safety awareness. You are aware that good communication is crucial for creating a functioning collaboration, as this position involves both individual work and group work. Regardless of previous experience in the electrical field, we are looking for you who are curious and ready to take on new challenges with an open and humble approach.

The position requires good Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a B driving license.

Meritorious for the position is knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• Vehicle mechanics
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
