JKB Hyband AB was founded in March 2009, but the company has been active in the industry for over 20 years. The company is located in Hjo, with a workshop also in Skövde. Moving beyond pure manufacturing, we now also offer services such as service, assembly, and maintenance, and we constantly strive to improve our products in close collaboration with our customers. About the role

You will work broadly within the workshop, focusing on the assembly and refurbishment of hydraulic cylinders. The role involves significant personal responsibility, particularly in driving and following up on refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of newly manufactured hydraulic cylinders and preparation for delivery
• Disassembly, troubleshooting, and refurbishment of hydraulic cylinders
• Seal replacement and restoration of function and performance
• Responsibility for ordering seals, as well as inventory management and restocking
• Planning, prioritizing, and following up on refurbishment work to ensure efficient workflow
• Measurement, control, and work based on technical drawings

Requirements for the position:

• Experience in mechanical work, for example as a mechanic or assembler
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of manual turning and milling
• Good proficiency in Swedish (spoken and written)

Experience with CNC turning and milling, a forklift license for counterbalance forklifts, and CAD skills are considered meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have experience with control systems such as Mazatrol and Siemens Teach-in.

The position is located in Hjo at JKB Hyband AB. Working hours are Monday–Thursday 06:30–16:00 and Friday 06:30–11:45. You are offered employment starting immediately or as agreed.
