About the job

Do you want to work in a varied and practical role where you can make a real difference for both employees and users? The Social Services Administration in Öckerö Municipality is now looking for a caretaker (janitor/maintenance worker) for the Administration Support and Development unit. Here, you will become an important part of a team where collaboration, responsibility, and a service-oriented attitude are in focus.

Job Description

As a caretaker, you work in a team with two colleagues and have an important task of supporting the Social Services Administration's operations. The work is mobile and practical with a great variety of tasks, where you have extensive contact with both users, staff, and managers.

Your duties include:

• Interior building maintenance (minor repairs, maintenance, lamp changes, etc.)
• Assessments and fault reports to the property owner
• Contact with craftsmen, suppliers, and property owners
• Maintenance and minor repairs of assistive devices (e.g., ceiling lifts and beds)
• Transport of mail, food, samples, and other matters between operations and islands
• Waste management

Your Background

We are looking for you who have a suitable upper secondary education and an interest in practical work and service. You are a person who sees what needs to be done, can work independently, and plan your work based on the needs of the operations.

Requirements:

• Category B driver's license
• Basic computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Other Information

• The position is subject to necessary decisions being made.
• All employees within the Social Services Administration must provide a police certificate. This applies regardless of employment type and position. This also applies to persons assigned to internships in the area.
• Fixed-term employment for one year with possible extension.
