Nevel is now looking for an Operations and Maintenance Technician for the district heating plant in Tibro. This is a broad and varied position for you who enjoy practical work, independent responsibility, and technical challenges.
Your responsibilities with us
As an Operations and Maintenance Technician at Nevel, you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for ensuring stable and safe operation of the district heating plant in Tibro. The role is varied, but the focus is primarily on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of the plant's equipment.
You work closely with the operations and are responsible for identifying, preventing, and rectifying faults in the plant. The work also includes operational monitoring, tracking operational parameters, ordering spare parts, and some administration.
Examples of tasks:
- Operational monitoring and supervision of the plant
- Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment
- Preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability
- Ordering of materials and spare parts
- Documentation and administration in the company's systems
- On-call duty according to schedule
The majority of the work takes place out in the plant, where you get to use your technical competence and problem-solving skills to keep operations running.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is technically knowledgeable, hands-on, and enjoys solving problems. You are self-motivated in your work but also appreciate collaborating with others to achieve common goals. To succeed in this role, you need to be curious, responsible, and have a desire to develop both yourself and the business.
You have experience working with maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting and feel confident in identifying problems and finding sustainable solutions.
We would like you to have:
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting
- Knowledge of welding and workshop work
- Ability to independently replace and repair components
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Basic computer skills
It is an advantage if you have:
- Boiler training or equivalent experience
- Experience from power plants, process industry, or the energy sector
- Experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles, construction machinery, or agricultural machinery
- Experience as a mechanic, blacksmith, or similar technical role
As a person, you have good problem-solving skills, are versatile, and enjoy taking responsibility. You collaborate well with others and are motivated by learning new things. We prefer that you live within a reasonable commuting distance from Tibro, as on-call duty is included in the position.
