Your Role

Axians is looking for a Senior Technician specializing in Fiber and LAN to join our team in Gothenburg.

You will work with installation, service, and smaller projects within building networks – often in existing buildings where operations are ongoing. Assignments vary in size and require you to plan, execute, and deliver with high quality.

You play a key role in these projects and are expected to take significant responsibility for the execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Fiber installation (splicing, termination, and testing)
• Copper network installation (termination, patching, and outlet installation)
• Mounting of racks, cabinets, and network equipment
• Troubleshooting and rectification in existing networks
• Documentation of completed work

Competency Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience with fiber and/or LAN
• Is self-sufficient in installation and troubleshooting
• Has a good understanding of building networks and how systems are structured
• Is meticulous and takes responsibility for the delivery
• Thrives in both customer-facing roles and teamwork

Desirable Certifications

It is highly meritorious if you hold the following certifications:

• Robust Fiber, CFT, or BIF (a strong plus for this type of assignment)
