Your Role

As a system administrator in this role, you belong to a unit within the Technology Department. The department is responsible for providing FRA with the technical systems needed for operations. The department develops systems and platforms to support FRA's intelligence production.

In the role of system administrator, you have technical responsibility for various support systems that the Business Support Department works with. This may include, among other things, systems for HR, payroll, registry, or finance. In your role, you will be the bridge between the technical infrastructure and the organization's daily needs. You are the person who listens to the business's wishes and translates them into technical solutions that work in practice.

Your main tasks include:

• Operation and management of Windows environments adapted to the specific needs of the business
• Installation, updating, and lifecycle management of applications
• Troubleshooting and technical support in close collaboration with internal users
• Collaboration with architects and colleagues to continuously improve the operating environment
• Introduction of new systems in close collaboration with the business
• In the role, you become part of an egalitarian and supportive team that lifts each other up to create maximum value for the user together.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Several years of current experience in work consisting of operation and management of Windows Server
• Work experience with MS SQL Server
• Work experience and familiarity with administering the latest versions of Windows Server OS
• Work experience with PowerShell scripting
• Work experience with GPO management
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Post-secondary education with an IT focus
• Work experience with the administration of cloud solutions

More Information

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approx. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security clearance in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be war-placed. We apply a six-month probation period.
