Consultancy Role: Strategic Buyer within Marketing

Do you want to work in an international environment where you can combine strategic purchasing with business-oriented collaboration? We are now looking for an experienced buyer for an exciting consultancy assignment with one of our clients in Gothenburg.

In this role, you are responsible for sourcing and supplier management within several market-related areas. You will drive purchasing projects from analysis and tendering to negotiation, contracting, and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Drive sourcing and tendering projects within market-related services
• Be responsible for supplier strategies and supplier relationships
• Conduct market and supplier analyses
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and development opportunities
• Work with cost optimization, quality, and sustainability issues
• Ensure long-term and business-oriented supplier partnerships

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in strategic purchasing or sourcing
• Has worked with market-related services such as education, communication, print materials, translation, or similar areas
• Has experience in supplier negotiations and contract management
• Is accustomed to working in an international environment
• Has strong analytical skills and a business-oriented approach
• Has a relevant university degree or equivalent experience
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English
