Job Description

At Yrkesgymnasiet i Täby, we strive to provide our students with the best possible support in their educational choices, showing career paths and opportunities within the programs and specializations they are studying. To achieve this, we are now looking for a study and career counselor who is passionate about contributing to the students' development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can provide guidance, both individually and in groups, to stimulate students' interest and curiosity regarding future studies and career paths.
• Has the ability to work independently and in teams, and can build networks with representatives from the business community and the public sector.
• Is communicative and motivating in interactions with students and teachers.
• Has a strong drive to, in collaboration with the school's student health team (EHT), develop and shape our development time and our work with study and career counseling at the school.
• Works based on and is well acquainted with the regulatory documents found in the Swedish National Agency for Education's laws and guidelines.

Qualifications

You have a degree as a study and career counselor. It is meritorious if you have experience working with counseling within upper secondary education previously.
