In our work to give every student good conditions to progress in their studies, we are strengthening our support with student-oriented IT support at Komvux Skärholmen and Komvux Liljeholmen. This enhanced support aims to develop students' digital competence for studies, work, and social life. The support will be provided both individually and in groups, when studies begin as well as during the study period. We are therefore looking for you with great commitment who want to be part of our journey. Together we meet the needs of both Stockholmers and working life!

Your role

We are now looking for an engaged Digital Coach who wants to be an important part of the work to create good conditions for learning within adult education – primarily within SFI (Swedish for Immigrants) and Komvux (Adult Education). The work involves close collaboration with teachers, special education teachers, and other professionals to give students the support they need.

Examples of tasks and areas of responsibility:

  • Assess students' digital competence and support in the reception of new students
  • Teach and provide targeted interventions to students in need of support, both individually and in groups
  • Lead study lounges and targeted support measures related to digital competence
  • Participate in and contribute to the school's support team
  • Document and follow up on interventions as well as student development
  • Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, special education teachers, and career counselors
  • Contribute to the development of structures, processes, and content for digital student support across the entire school

The position involves travel and work at both Komvux Skärholmen and Komvux Liljeholmen.

Your competence and experience

  • Post-secondary education
  • At least 3 years of work experience from professions where IT/technical support and educational elements have been included for target groups unfamiliar with data
  • Very good knowledge of digital tools such as Microsoft 365 and platforms used in teaching (e.g., Ping Pong or other learning platforms)
  • Documented experience of guidance, education, presentations, or walkthroughs of digital tools for target groups unfamiliar with digital technology

The position is filled subject to necessary decisions being made. Employment is in the position of Teacher Assistant.
