Workplace Description

Vinsta Primary School consists of two units, Östra and Västra, and is located in Vällingby in western Stockholm.

The school is a municipal F-9 school (grades 0-9) with approx. 850 students distributed so that grades F-6 are at Östra and grades 4-9 are at Västra. We are organizationally divided into stages led by deputy principals.

Job Description

We are looking for a teacher for school-age educare (Fritidshem) who can plan and conduct activities throughout the entire school day. During school hours, you collaborate with school-age educare colleagues and teachers during lessons, breaks, and transitions. You plan and lead values-based work in your work team. Together with other teachers for school-age educare, you plan, organize, and lead school-age educare and break activities based on the needs of all students at both group and individual levels, in accordance with the Swedish National Curriculum for Compulsory School (LGR 22).

You are a secure and clear leader who has a good ability to build relationships and collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians. You have knowledge and experience of meeting students with different abilities and prerequisites. You keep the student in focus when planning teaching and activities.

You see working in a work team as an advantage to jointly plan activities and teaching based on both the individual's and the group's needs. You are active and involved in driving the school's development forward, but you are also capable of working independently. You will collaborate and plan together with both teachers and school-age educare staff; you work together based on "the whole child, the whole day" from your different roles and assignments. You are a colleague who is happy to share and is open to others' thoughts and ideas.
