Job Description

Our preschool is located in a multicultural area where children and families with different languages, experiences, and backgrounds meet every day. For many of our children, the preschool is their first encounter with the Swedish language, making language development a central part of our education and teaching.

As a preschool teacher, you play a key role in creating a language-stimulating and inspiring learning environment where children's curiosity, play, and exploration are at the center. We work with read-alouds, conversations, rhymes and chants, song, and music as natural parts of everyday life to strengthen children's linguistic development and give them good prerequisites for continued learning.

In close collaboration with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and developing the work based on the curriculum's goals. Together, you work to create a safe, inclusive, and developmental environment where every child is given the opportunity to grow and succeed.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and passionate about children's language and knowledge development. You have very good skills in expressing yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and you see language as one of your most important pedagogical tools.

You enjoy reading aloud, conversing with children, and creating joyful learning situations through song, music, and literature. Your joy for language is contagious and contributes to children developing their vocabulary, communication skills, and interest in stories and texts.

As a person, you are secure, engaged, and relationship-building. You are present in children's play and learning, find it easy to collaborate with colleagues, and build good relationships with both children and guardians. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and contribute with a positive attitude to the work team.
