Job Description

We are currently looking for three support assistants for our residential facilities on Högabergsvägen and Laxvägen. As a support assistant, you are interested in a developing and varied job where we work together to create and maintain conditions for security, self-determination, quality of life, and joy for our users. You should be active and enjoy participating in various outdoor activities.

The work involves providing support and service to the residents to contribute to a functional and stimulating daily life. The tasks include, for example, service interventions, social support, motivational interventions, and other measures designed according to each individual's needs and conditions. We work with a solution-focused approach centered on the user. We work every other weekend and may have on-call duties with overnight shifts. Part of the role involves shared shifts, meaning you may occasionally work at other residential facilities we collaborate with within Falkenberg Municipality.

The work also involves documenting, designing, and following up on implementation plans to contribute to a functional and stimulating daily life for our users, as well as delegated tasks from nurses, such as medication delegation.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• are educated as a childcare worker, assistant nurse, or have other education that the employer deems suitable.
• have good knowledge of intellectual disabilities, autism, and autism-like conditions.
• have experience working with people with disabilities.
• have basic computer skills and experience with documentation.
• have good teamwork skills and the ability to communicate directly and clearly.
• are accustomed to being active and enjoy spending time outdoors.
• have a calm and professional attitude, and can handle challenging situations in a low-affective manner.
• have a valid B-driver's license.

Employment Terms and Conditions

Employment Type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-09-01 according to agreement. Interviews may take place continuously during the advertising period.
