ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for a Student Assistant for Södermalmsskolan.

Södermalmsskolan is a grades F-6 school with one parallel class. Here you will encounter a multicultural school where many different languages are spoken. We have a great asset in the proximity to forests and nature, which we can use as an outdoor classroom. An ice hall, sports hall, and athletics field are located nearby and are used during sports lessons and by the after-school center.

Many students complete their school day at the after-school center Barret, which is operated in the school's premises. At the after-school center, students have great opportunities to influence content and activities. At Södermalmsskolan, we work based on the thesis that "health and learning go hand in hand" and that everyone should feel involved.

As a Student Assistant, you are a pedagogical support for the school's teachers. Your duties include supporting students during the school day and, if necessary, being responsible for planning and conducting teaching. You work in a supportive and inclusive manner for all students based on the school's core values and collaborate with teachers in daily work. In this assignment, you will be a support for a student in preschool class.

We are looking for you who are educated as a social pedagogue or have equivalent education/experience that the employer considers comparable. Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD) is meritorious.
