Eviaskolan offers quality-assured and research-based teaching and treatment to students who need extra support in their learning. Our schools specialize in creating a safe and supportive environment so that previous experiences of failure in the school setting are turned into successful experiences. We work based on the evidence-based approach of school-wide positive behavior support (PBS) and with small student groups and an engaged team, we work together to adapt the teaching to each student's unique needs.

We currently have two schools in Stockholm, one on Södermalm and one in Västerhaninge. We are looking for you who want to drive and develop our schools together with us!

About Eviaskolan

Eviaskolan is a resource school with treatment. Through our combined competencies, we make a big difference for the students who have had it the hardest in their schooling. Many of the students have not been in school for a long time before starting at Eviaskolan and they often have neuropsychiatric disabilities. Eviaskolan's vision is to offer a business where previous experiences of failure in the school environment for the student are turned into successful experiences through quality-assured and research-based treatment and teaching. Job Responsibilities

As a study and career counselor with us, you have an important role in strengthening the students' hope for the future and helping them find ways forward towards studies, work, and independence. You work closely with students, guardians, and the school's cross-professional team to create realistic and motivating future plans based on each student's prerequisites.

The work includes among other things:

• Provide individual study and career counseling to students.

About You

We are looking for someone who is engaged, relationship-building, and solution-focused. You have the ability to meet students with different experiences and needs and create trusting relationships that strengthen their motivation and hope for the future.

You are structured, independent, and enjoy collaborating in cross-professional teams. You see opportunities where others see obstacles and are driven by making a difference for students who need extra support to reach their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in study and career counseling.
• Experience in study and career counseling within primary school or other educational activities.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish education system.

We would like you to have experience of:

• working with students in need of special support.
• working with students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPD).
• collaboration with external actors regarding school transitions and future planning.
