About the School

Practical Märsta offers students a concept where theory is interwoven with practical exercises both at school and at workplaces. At Practical, we hold ourselves to high standards to create the best conditions for an educational and fun learning experience. Our teaching is characterized by flexibility, proximity, and practical learning. Our program offerings include: Child and Recreation Program, Construction and Civil Engineering Program, Electricity and Energy Program, and Sales and Service Program. Currently, the school has approximately 150 students and about 20 employees.

The school is centrally located in Märsta, just a five-minute walk from the commuter train station. You can reach Märsta in less than 40 minutes from Stockholm Central Station and less than 20 minutes from Uppsala Central Station. The school offers apprenticeship training on all programs from different grade levels.

Your Role

This position is a needs-based employment. You will be part of our substitute teacher pool to cover for one of our teachers as needed. We are looking for people who want to substitute in both general high school subjects and our vocational subjects. If you have previous experience as a teacher, educator, or have worked in the construction or electrical industry, it is a big plus.

We see you as an important and driving force to provide students with the best possible education, focusing on the students and collaborating with the school staff.

As mentioned above, we are looking for you who want to join the substitute teacher pool to work with teaching as needed. We place great importance on personal qualities. We value your ability to meet the students' needs and that you identify with our values and keywords.
