In total, we have approximately 550 employees working to ensure that our approximately 3,000 students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for the future in working life or further studies. In the summer of 2026, Högland's adult education will also join, located in Sävsjö, Eksjö, and Nässjö.

Your new job
As a teacher in vehicle technology, you are responsible for teaching within the upper secondary school's vehicle and transport programs. You will primarily teach vehicle technology to Year 1 students with a focus on transport. You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching with a focus on both practical and theoretical moments. The role also includes assessing students' knowledge and assigning grades in accordance with current regulatory documents.
The work takes place close to the students in both workshop and outdoor environments, with the goal of contributing to their professional and personal development. The assignment also includes mentoring and collaboration with colleagues and industry companies.
About you
To be considered for the position, you must have at least a completed upper secondary education. It is meritorious if you have teacher certification with eligibility in vehicle technology. If you do not have pedagogical education, you must be prepared to complete a vocational teacher education. The position requires a B driving license, and a C driving license is meritorious. It is also a requirement that you have professional experience within the vehicle industry.

About our school
Nifsarpsskolan is an upper secondary school located just outside Eksjö. At the school, we offer upper secondary education within the vehicle and transport program, the construction and civil engineering program with a focus on land and construction, and the natural resource program with a focus on forestry. The school has approximately 240 students and 40 employees, where all staff members are on holiday contracts.
The school is characterized by a culture with high engagement, a family atmosphere, great personal responsibility, and a working style where everyone helps each other and is equally valued. We have close contact with our industries, locally, regionally, and nationally, and for us, it is particularly important that students have high employability after graduation.

Permanent position 100%, with start date as agreed. Holiday contract.
If you have completed teacher education or other pedagogical university education, we ask you to attach relevant education certificates.
