About Swerock

Swerock is one of Sweden's largest suppliers of materials and services to the construction and infrastructure industry. Our offering includes ballast, concrete, transport and machinery services, as well as environmental services such as recycling, soil remediation, and water purification. With solid expertise, personal commitment, and local presence, Swerock creates holistic solutions that make your project more sustainable.

Do you want to work in a central role where customer service, logistics, administration, and problem-solving meet in an exciting daily routine? Do you thrive with many contact points, making quick decisions, and being the one who makes the puzzle pieces fall into place? Then the role of Order Receiver at Swerock might be your next step.

About the Position

As an Order Receiver, you become a key person in the operations and the first point of contact for their concrete customers. You are responsible for receiving orders, providing advice regarding products and concrete deliveries, and ensuring that the right resources are in place at the right time.

Your days are characterized by a high pace where you combine customer contact with transport planning and order processing. While receiving incoming orders via phone and email, you actively work on planning transports, coordinating concrete trucks and pumps, and ensuring that deliveries are carried out as efficiently as possible.

You will have daily contact with customers, site managers, factories, drivers, pump operators, and external haulage companies to find the best solutions for each delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Receive and register customer orders via phone and email
  • Provide service, advice, and price information to customers
  • Plan and coordinate concrete transports
  • Ensure the correct number of concrete trucks and pumps are available
  • Collaborate with factories, drivers, and external haulage companies
  • Handle changes and replanning in real-time
  • Administer customer data and provide some invoicing support
  • Contribute to developing efficient working methods and processes

Requirements for the Position

  • Either experience in transport management and order administration or experience from the construction and infrastructure industry. Both backgrounds are seen as highly meritorious for the role.
  • Good computer skills
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Valid driver's license (Category B)

Meritorious Qualifications

  • Education in transport management, logistics, or a similar field
  • Experience in customer service in a high-paced environment

Personal Qualities

To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate a varied and eventful workday where you switch between customer dialogues, administration, planning, and logistics. Since you have daily contact with everyone from large construction companies to smaller contractors and private individuals, it is important that you have good social skills and a professional demeanor.

You are motivated by solving problems and see challenges as a natural part of everyday life. When conditions change, deliveries are moved, or customers make late changes, you have the ability to quickly adapt, reprioritize, and find new solutions. You thrive in a high pace where several tasks are ongoing simultaneously and have the ability to remain calm in the situation.

Furthermore, you are a team player who gladly collaborates with your colleagues to achieve common goals and create the best solutions for customers. At the same time, you take responsibility for your own area, working in a structured and meticulous manner. We also believe that you are a positive and unpretentious person who does not let setbacks affect you too much, but rather quickly finds new energy and moves forward when planning needs to be redone.
