The position involves educational planning and dimensioning of education as well as case processing.

As an Education Coordinator, you will work closely with the faculty's management and the institutions' deputy deans for education, both strategically and operationally, regarding educational planning and the educational offer. The work includes planning, follow-up, and analysis concerning content and dimensioning. Central to the role is working with the faculty's educational forecasts and supporting the institutions' forecasting work. Examples of tasks within the Education Coordinator's area of responsibility include:

  • maintaining an overview and ensuring that the institutions' educational administrative processes function and deadlines are met,
  • responsible for coordinating the offer and ensuring the educational offer is correct,

  • supporting the operations regarding laws, regulations, and university-internal rules.

In addition to the tasks mentioned above, you will also serve as a case processor in the faculty's education board and the undergraduate education committee. The Education Coordinator also acts as a case processor for matters such as educational plans, course syllabi, routines, guidelines, as well as the discontinuation and establishment of courses and programs.

At the same time, the role requires you to be proactive and constructive, as the educational administrative processes you work with have clear deadlines. The work with educational planning and follow-up also requires you to be analytical and able to see and explain connections in a pedagogical way. The role of Education Coordinator also presupposes that you have a good understanding of the university as a public authority and have a good ability to interpret and apply regulations within your area of competence.
