Job Responsibilities
The Contact Center's mission is to be the gateway to Malmö City for citizens and businesses. We work to provide everyone with accessible, equal, and professional service based on their needs.
The operation consists of approximately 55 municipal guides who meet Malmö residents daily via telephone, email, chat, social media, and at our visit locations in Rosengård, Värnhem, City Hall, and Mobilia. Together, we provide information and guidance within the entire municipality's operations – everything from building permits, parking issues, and environmental matters to social assistance, school, culture, and leisure.
In the work, various digital tools and case management systems are used to search for information, register cases, and follow agreed-upon routines with the administrations.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have
Requirements
- At least 60 approved university credits or completed YH/KY education within a field relevant to the position
- Experience from contact centers, customer service, or experience from the hospitality industry where the total time amounts to two years
- Experience handling several different digital systems in parallel, such as case management systems, social media, email, chat, and telephone
- Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
- Good knowledge of English in both speech and writing
Merits
- Completed university degree in service management
- Experience of service/customer contact via telephone
- Experience of customer service in physical meetings
- Good knowledge of Finnish
- Good knowledge of sign language

The Contact Center is part of the Service Administration. The Service Administration is divided into five departments and offers everything from transport services to IT and answering citizens in Malmö City's contact center. We maintain streets, parks, green areas, and beaches, manage all of Malmö City's buildings, and ensure that our school students get good and nutritious food. Together, we are a smart service partner to the city.

In the recruitment process, we will use group interviews, tests, and individual interviews. Group interviews take place in week 33 and 34.
