Controller for Health and Care Operations

Do you want to work close to operations, contribute to strategic decisions, and help develop one of the municipality's most socially important areas? Östra Göinge Municipality is now seeking a driven and analytical Controller who wants to be a key figure in the Health and Care operations area.

We are now looking for a Controller who wants to join our continued development journey. You will become part of the Finance Unit – a competent and engaged group of nine people – located in our modern municipal building centrally situated in Broby, right in the "Green Heart of Scania." The commute is convenient with several bus departures every hour.

Responsibilities
As a Controller, you will have a central role in the municipality's financial management. You will work closely with the managers within the Health and Care operations area and will be part of the leadership group. Together, you will contribute to well-founded financial decisions and stable, sustainable management.
The Health and Care operations area consists of several different operations with varying assignments and needs. As a Controller, you will provide managers with qualified, pedagogical, and operationally close support in budgeting, follow-up, and forecasting. You will collaborate with managers who have different levels of financial experience, and therefore, you need the ability to adapt your support based on their different prerequisites.

Your main responsibilities:
- Provide the operations with qualified financial support through analysis, advice, and reporting.
- Support managers within the Health and Care operations area in budgeting, financial follow-up, and forecasting.
- Contribute with analysis and decision support materials to the leadership group and participate in strategic work.
- Be involved in and drive the development of financial processes, routines, and working methods together with the Finance Unit.
Qualifications
You who apply have:
- An academic degree in economics, or other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- At least two years of experience as a Controller or from another qualified financial function within municipal or other public operations.
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
- Category B driver's license
Meritorious Qualifications
It is meritorious if you have experience as a Controller with a connection to care operations. You thrive in a role with both strategic and operational elements and are motivated by working close to the operations.
You are solution-oriented, analytical, structured, and communicative, and have the ability to make economics understandable and useful for others. You create good relationships, build trust, and contribute to a positive and collaboration-oriented work environment.
We believe that you appreciate pace, variety, and a daily routine where several issues are ongoing simultaneously. You are sensitive to the needs of the operations, take an active role in your assignment, and proactively contribute with financial guidance. At the same time, you work in a structured manner and can handle periods of higher workload in a sustainable way.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date is by agreement.
