Case Manager LSS – Sick Leave Wages

To the Social Services Department, we are looking for a case manager for the LSS Children and Young People unit.

Permanent position. Full time, start date according to agreement.

About the workplace

The LSS Children and Young People unit is responsible for exercising authority according to the LSS Act and the Social Services Act for children and young people with disabilities. The unit consists of approximately eight employees and is centrally located in Huddinge Centre. Our mission is to ensure legally sound decisions, good quality, and efficient case processing.

The position is performed independently and is organizationally placed within the unit but involves a task that largely affects the entire section.

About the assignment

The assignment includes, among other things, processing compensation for sick leave wages for personal assistants, as well as reviewing and following up on invoices related to assistance.

The work involves reviewing and assessing documentation related to sick leave wage compensation for personal assistants. It is about checking that sick leave costs claimed for compensation are correctly reported and align with current legislation, guidelines, and compensation levels. The assignment includes analyzing documentation, following up on invoices, and ensuring that additional costs due to assistants' sick leave are reasonable and handled correctly.

An important part of the work is also to notice discrepancies in documentation and compensation claims and to work systematically with follow-up and control.

The role involves significant personal responsibility. You are expected to plan, prioritize, and drive your cases forward, as well as ensure that the case processing maintains high quality and good efficiency.

Qualifications

The following are required for the assignment:

• A degree in Social Work or other relevant academic education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience in investigating sick leave wages within personal assistance and investigation of all LSS interventions.
• You have good computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing.
