Do you want to be part of our exciting development work within the Social Services Department of the Norra Innerstaden District Administration?

We are expanding our Therapy Dog Team with another certified Therapy Dog Team to be able to reach more people within Social Services. Here, you and your dog now have the opportunity to join us and leave your paw prints.

Your role as a Certified Therapy Dog Team

In the role of a certified Therapy Dog Team, you enable breaking isolation, facilitating interventions, going for dog walks, visiting care contacts, or visiting schools for our residents. Together with the existing Therapy Dog Team, you will meet different parts of the Social Services Department and collaborate with various professions.

Activities are part of the work as a certified Therapy Dog Team, therefore, you who apply must enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who have this requirement profile:

• Certified Therapy Dog Team
• Dog that is MH or BPH tested
• Completed upper secondary education within care and assistance, assistant nurse education, or education that the employer deems equivalent
• Knowledge of autism, intellectual disability (ID), mental disabilities, dementia diseases, as well as knowledge about children and young people

It is meritorious if you have:

• Dog that is MT tested
