Our Operations

The Academic Children's Hospital area consists of eight sections. This position belongs organizationally to the Section for Specialized Pediatrics, which comprises nine different pediatric subject areas with outpatient and consultation services: Allergology, CF/pulmonology, diabetes, endocrinology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology, rheumatology, and obesity. Several of our subject areas are authorized to provide National Highly Specialized Care (NHV). Research and teaching are important components of our operations.

Your Role

The role involves working within several subject areas/teams in the Section for Specialized Pediatrics: endocrinology, diabetes, obesity, and nephrology. The distribution of duties among the different teams will be dynamic over time, depending on the needs of the operations and your clinical interests. In addition to outpatient work, including consultations, the role includes a rotating responsibility for an elective care ward. The role also includes duty shifts within the Section for Acute Pediatric Care as a pediatric on-call doctor at the Emergency Department for Children and Adolescents, and as a ward doctor weekly at the Acute Care Ward for Children and Adolescents.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who hold specialist competence in pediatric medicine. Previous clinical experience, research, and pedagogical merits are considered. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
