The Role of Technical Procurement Coordinator

In the role of Technical Procurement Coordinator, you work at the intersection of technology and procurement. You play a key role in ensuring that the right materials are available with accurate information, and that the procurement process runs efficiently.

You support buyers in material selection and supplier assessment, while collaborating closely with designers, project managers, and other functions within the organization. The role involves significant personal responsibility and a varied daily routine where you contribute to creating structure and quality in our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain procurement items in the material catalog
• Ensure that article data is correct and complete
• Prepare procurement documentation and create purchase requisitions based on needs
• Contribute to cost-effective procurement through coordination and planning
• Support the organization with material-related questions
• Participate in dialogues with suppliers from a technical perspective
• Work with forecast purchasing for projects with longer lead times

Your Background, Experience, and Competence

We are looking for someone with a technical interest who thrives on working in a structured and detailed manner. You are accustomed to handling multiple tasks simultaneously and take ownership of driving your work forward.

You have:

• Experience working in technology, procurement, or material management
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills, especially with the Office package

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with spare parts or technical procurement
• Knowledge of different material types
• Relevant education in technology or economics

As a person, you are collaborative, detail-oriented, and solution-focused. You thrive in a role with many contact points and contribute with a positive and service-oriented approach.
