As a Technical Procurement Assistant in Karlskrona, you will be the link between technology, procurement, and projects. You ensure correct article data, support procurement, and contribute to efficient material flows in a high-paced and complex operation.

About the Role

In the role of Technical Procurement Assistant, you work at the intersection of technology, procurement, and projects. You ensure that correct article data is available in the systems and act as a technical support throughout the entire procurement process – from need to registered and purchasable article. In this role, you will be employed by Academic Work and assigned to our client. The assignment is initially for 1 year.

Responsibilities

In this role, you become a key player at the interface between technology and procurement, focusing on material flows, article data, and technical support for the procurement organization.

  • Create and administer new procurement articles in the material catalog
  • Ensure that mandatory article attributes are correctly registered for purchasable articles
  • Create purchase requisitions based on needs from systems and projects
  • Consolidate purchases to achieve cost-effectiveness and optimized flows
  • Provide technical support to the procurement organization in dialogue with suppliers
  • Procure materials for projects with long-term delivery needs
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and material planners

We are looking for you who

  • Have advanced experience in technical procurement assistance or material preparation in a practical and/or theoretical environment
  • Have excellent ability to work with technical information and complex article data
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, in professional contexts
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office and its tools for work-related tasks
  • Have experience working systematically in business or material management systems in an operational environment
  • Have passed a security clearance according to current security regulations

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience in spare parts procurement from a technical and operational perspective
  • Basic knowledge of material types and technical components in industrial contexts
  • Education in industrial economics, engineering, or procurement (formal or equivalent experience)
  • Experience from manufacturing industry, energy, defense, or process sectors
