About the role

In the role of personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in their daily life. Personal assistance is a service under the LSS Act (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Impaired Persons). You will uphold the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily routine. The client's individual needs dictate the workday, and tasks may include help with mobility, personal care, training, communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you and the client.

We are looking for you who match the following criteria:

• Wish to work with a 6-year-old girl living in Kalix
• Have good proficiency in Swedish
• Tolerate pets (there are cats and dogs in the home)
• Are comfortable working in a school environment and collaborating with educators and parents
• A certificate of good conduct (extract from the police record) is required as the position involves working with children
• Are a non-smoker (during working hours)

The following qualifications are meritorious:

• Experience in similar work
• Experience with tube feeding and autism
• Experience working with children

Personal suitability will be given great weight.

Working hours, employment percentage, and salary:

The current form of employment is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts". Before the position starts, you will undergo a paid introduction/onboarding. During the onboarding period, you will receive an agreement for a fixed-term hourly employment with a set end date.

We are looking for someone interested in a position of approximately 80%. The role involves working during daytime, evening, and night shifts on weekdays as well as weekends. Work shifts are scheduled 07:00–16:30 and 18:00–07:00, with waiting time occurring between 01:00–06:00.

During school weeks, the client is at school Monday to Thursday from 08:00–12:00, and you will be present to support her during the school day.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other benefits are paid according to the collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or according to agreement. The end date of the temporary position is not yet determined.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a certificate of good conduct from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you must present an extract from the police record and suspicion register prior to any potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
