ABOUT THE POSITION
Do you want to work in a role that truly makes a difference in people's lives? At Bättre Assistans, part of Inre Kraft, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. We are seeking 4 on-call substitutes available for work as needed. If the match between you and the client is good, there is also an opportunity for a permanent part-time position between 40-60%.
Working hours vary between day, evening, night, and 24-hour shifts on weekdays and weekends. During certain periods, the position is double-staffed with two assistants.

ABOUT THE CLIENT
Here, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the client's life by supporting them in everything from daily routines to leisure activities, with the goal that the client, with your support, can live as independently as possible. Since the client has Autism, it is important that you understand the importance of creating a predictable and routine-based daily life, and that you are open to learning how to apply low-arousal approaches in your work. The client appreciates walks, listening to music, and watching films.

You should be communicative and have a good ability to adjust your activity level to the client's needs. Sometimes the work involves a lot of quietness, which can quickly switch to activity requiring supervision. You should have a good ability to read other people and enjoy working in a preventive manner.

To be employed by us at Bättre Assistans, you need to have a BankID and approve using your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting an employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so ordering should be done in good time.
