We are looking for a special educator for the Introduction Programme at Högberg School's upper secondary school. We are looking for you who want to work as a special educator, support mentors, and collaborate with guardians as well as external partners. We see that the students' well-being and academic results are interconnected, making building relationships, offering motivational talks, and supporting students in their psychosocial school situation an important part of your daily work.
You have special educational competence and experience working with individual and group support. You will be part of the school's student health team to contribute to health-promoting and preventive work by removing obstacles and difficulties in various learning environments. You conduct pedagogical assessments and design and implement special support. You are a qualified conversation partner and advisor in matters regarding grades and assessment, and you support teachers in their work with extra adjustments and special support. You will also be part of the Introduction Programme's work team and collaborate closely with mentors and teaching staff.
In your professional role, you are engaged, solution-focused, curious, and able to view challenges from different perspectives. You are responsible and structured with a good ability to plan your work. You have good collaboration skills and are able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Tierp Municipality is part of a Finnish-speaking administrative area. If, in addition to our other competence requirements, you also speak Finnish, this can be an asset.
