Working in elderly care gives you the opportunity to contribute to joy of life and well-being. The goal is for care recipients to have meaningful days, where you provide good nursing and social care. Your working hours are scheduled during day and evening shifts, as well as every other weekend. We value collaboration and work based on the national code of ethics.

Working in home care means supporting and helping the care recipient in their home based on approved services. You travel to the individual's home on foot or by e-bike. Your work includes practical help with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more.

You also perform health and medical care tasks after instruction and delegation from licensed personnel. All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used by the City of Gothenburg, you will receive training in them.

As a Care Assistant or Assistant in home care, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life.

You will work on a schedule that includes days, evenings, and every other weekend.

About You

Qualifications

• Since we document and communicate in Swedish, you need to be fluent in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
• You need to be experienced with bicycles and able to use an e-bike for work.

Meritorious but not required

• Trained Care Assistant.
• Work experience in healthcare and social care.
