System Developer within Integration – Do you want to help modernize our integration capabilities?

We are embarking on a major and exciting modernization journey where our integration capabilities are to be lifted to the next level. Therefore, we are looking for you who want to help shape the integration solutions of the future together with an engaged team. With us, you will become a key player in an area that is crucial for the digital development of the organization.

What we offer

Region Östergötland (RÖ) is responsible for healthcare and regional development in Östergötland. RÖ is a politically governed organization and the county's largest employer with just over 14,000 employees. RÖ provides high-quality healthcare with expertise in several areas. IT development gives us new opportunities to meet patients' needs in ways we haven't before. Digitalization has enhanced patients' ability to contact healthcare, becoming an important part of the strategy to build "Close Care".

  • We have high ambitions to be at the forefront in the technology and IT field.
  • Here you will work with Östergötland's largest network in a structured and complex technical care environment.
  • Modern and flexible working methods with a hybrid workplace characterized by open dialogue for change both within teams and management. We are located in central premises in Linköping with easy access to everything.
  • We offer our employees an important and stimulating workplace where you, as an employee, have the opportunity to develop professionally while maintaining a good balance between work, family life, and leisure.
  • We feel that we make a difference every day and are part of an important context in contributing to improving healthcare.
  • We offer structured introduction and guidance as well as good opportunities for competence development.

About us – The Integration Team

We are a dedicated team of seven people in total – a team leader, three system developers, and three colleagues working with operations and support of our integration platforms. Together, we are responsible for creating robust and efficient flows that hold the organization's system landscape together.

Our technical area is broad and currently includes among other things:

  • Microsoft BizTalk – for building integration solutions.
  • Tyk API Management – for managing and securing APIs.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) – for retrieving and processing data.
  • UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) – for automating and simplifying manual processes.

In the coming years, we will modernize parts of our integration platform.

Job Description

We are now looking for a backend system developer with an interest in integration platforms or alternatively a few years of experience in system development. As a system developer within the integration area, you work independently and collaborate with others in the group and are part of Region Östergötland's ICC-team (Integration Competence Center). Your assignments vary and can consist of everything from large projects to smaller tasks lasting a few days, but you always have a close relationship with the customer and colleagues.

When you join us, you will first receive an introduction to our workplace and your assignment, naturally based on your needs. We can then offer you varied tasks, development opportunities, and a pleasant office in central Linköping. Your work is performed both individually and together in teams, and what we do is of great help to many within Region Östergötland, from employees to patients. The work we do creates significant social benefit; maintaining and developing future integration solutions for healthcare actually contributes to saving lives.

About you

We are looking for you who want to work with system integration. You master development within one or more of the following areas: C#, databases (T-SQL), Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). It is meritorious if you have worked with any of the following technologies: Microsoft BizTalk, API development, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Team Foundation Server.

You have a university degree in IT or equivalent experience. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

You are a pronounced team player and enjoy continuously learning, but also sharing your knowledge. You have a sense for quality and work in a structured manner. You look at the big picture but can also dive into details within your own role's area.

You adapt easily to changed circumstances and can see changes as something positive.

Application and Employment

Before employment in a patient-close role within Region Östergötland, you will be asked to fill out a health declaration.

We warmly welcome your application! If you need help registering in the system, contact Customer Service Support and Service, 010-103 60 00, during office hours.

To staffing, mediation, and recruitment agencies and to you who are a salesperson:

We kindly but firmly decline direct contact with staffing, mediation, and recruitment agencies as well as other external actors and sellers of additional job advertisements. Region Östergötland has procured agreements.
