A central financial system in a banking environment needs to be strengthened in terms of response times, stability, and overall performance. You will step into a complex system environment where delays can occur in several stages, and where the interaction between different technical layers is crucial for both operations and user experience.

You work closely with business and technology to create a clear picture of where the bottlenecks are, which measures yield the greatest effect, and how improvements can be implemented in practice. The environment comprises several integrated platforms and technologies, including standard systems, web and app interfaces in Java, .NET-based components, databases in Db2 and SQL, as well as communication via MQ.

This is a role for you who likes to understand the big picture, find root causes in complex flows, and make a concrete difference in a business-critical environment.

• You conduct an overarching analysis of the system's performance from an end-to-end perspective.
• You identify bottlenecks, latency, and dependencies between different parts of the system landscape.
• You develop recommendations for improvements in both the short and long term.
• You support the prioritization of measures based on business value and technical impact.
• You contribute, as needed, to the implementation or follow-up of proposed improvements.
• You help teams and stakeholders understand how different technical layers affect overall performance.

• You have extensive experience in performance analysis and optimization in complex system landscapes.
• You have a very good understanding of how different technical layers and integrations affect each other from a performance perspective.
• You are accustomed to analyzing business-critical systems where response times, stability, and availability are central.
• You can work systematically to identify root causes, suggest improvements, and translate insights into concrete actions.
• You have experience with environments featuring several integrated technologies, such as Java, .NET, Db2, SQL, and MQ.

• Experience from similar assignments in business-critical environments where high availability and fast response times are crucial.
• Experience in following up or supporting the implementation of performance-enhancing measures.
