We are now looking for an experienced Requirements Analyst for a comprehensive business-oriented IT project within the public transport sector. This role is ideal for you if you thrive in complex environments, possess strong analytical skills, and are accustomed to translating business needs into clear, sustainable, and traceable requirements.

About the Assignment

You will work within a large project focused on establishing a new operational business for self-operated bus traffic. The role involves clear responsibility for IT-related requirement specification across several business areas and system domains, such as traffic-related systems, vehicle-related systems, integrations, information security, as well as business and support systems within finance, HR, procurement, and maintenance.

You will operate at the intersection of business, IT, architecture, information security, and law, contributing to creating a cohesive requirements picture in an environment where the target vision, needs, and priorities are developed progressively.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, document, and secure buy-in for business needs, and translate these into business requirements, IT requirements, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Analyze business processes, information flows, system landscapes, and technical dependencies
• Plan, execute, and support requirements work within IT procurements according to LOU/LUF (Swedish public procurement acts)
• Develop requirement specifications, requirement appendices, and evaluation criteria
• Conduct and lead workshops, interviews, and other activities for requirements gathering and validation
• Participate in technical investigations, analyses, and decision-making processes
• Collaborate with business representatives, architects, security functions, project resources, suppliers, and external parties
• Ensure that requirements work is documented, structured, and handed over so that the results can be used in decision-making, procurement, implementation, testing, and ongoing management

Requirements for the Role

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 4 years of documented experience as a Requirements Analyst or a similar role within IT
• Experience in business, needs, and requirements analysis, requirements gathering, and the creation of requirement specifications or equivalent documentation
• Experience in requirements work across multiple projects, business areas, or departments
• At least 4 years of experience in analyzing non-functional requirements, such as IT security, information security, integrations, or robustness
• At least 4 years of experience in requirements analysis within complex IT environments for business and support systems, such as finance, HR, payroll, procurement, case management, or document management
• Experience from at least 2 assignments involving writing and compiling formal documents such as requirement specifications, requirement appendices, or procurement documents
• At least 1 year of experience facilitating and leading workshops or equivalent information gathering activities

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Requirements Analyst in connection with establishing new business, major business changes, business acquisitions, or extensive system implementations
• Certification in requirements analysis, such as IREB CPRE or equivalent
