Job Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and evaluate crafts education in accordance with Lgr22 for grades 3-5. This is a broad crafts teacher position, but the majority of the teaching will be conducted in woodwork and metalwork.

• Create a safe, stimulating, and secure working environment in the crafts workshop.
• Assess and grade students' work and collaborate with other colleagues at the school.

Working hours are scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as a shorter portion of Fridays.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified crafts teacher with good competence and experience in teaching, especially in woodwork and metalwork.

We seek someone who leads students in the subject with flexibility and good teamwork skills. Working in a work team with the goal of making school time valuable for students together with colleagues is a requirement. However, you must also independently drive your subject forward and be able to choose pedagogical approaches for different groups of students.

It is important to us that all students reach the goals, are allowed to be who they are, and feel safe and included. You have an interest in building good relationships with students and guardians, as we consider this a prerequisite for good learning.
