Tallbackens School is a newly built and modern school located in the Strömsbro district, beautifully situated with the forest right at your doorstep. The educational activities at the school include preschool class, grades 1–6, after-school activities, and an after-school club. There are currently 225 students at the school. At Tallbackens School, we actively work to increase student attendance. We also focus on relational leadership and students' literacy skills across all subjects.

With us, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the students' daily lives by laying the foundation for a lifelong interest in movement and health. We are looking for a PE teacher for grades F–6 who wants to awaken joy in movement and curiosity in our students.

Job Responsibilities

As a PE teacher for grades F-6, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on teaching in accordance with the national curriculum. You create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students develop both their physical abilities and knowledge about health and lifestyle.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• planning, conducting, and evaluating PE lessons
• adapting teaching based on students' different needs and prerequisites
• promoting joy in movement, cooperation, and good living habits
• contributing to students' sense of security, participation, and motivation
• class responsibility and mentorship may be included in the role

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• a teaching degree and teaching license with eligibility to teach grades F-6 and the subject of PE
• familiarity with and knowledge of the primary school curriculum
• the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• knowledge of and experience working with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office.

• collaborative and have a non-hierarchical approach to working with colleagues, students, and guardians
• clear in your leadership; you demonstrate clear and secure leadership where you naturally motivate students and create an environment where they thrive and feel good. You have a good ability to create open dialogue and adapt your language to the situation and target group
• creative, curious, and open to new ideas and working methods

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-08-12.
Working hours: Daytime.
