We are now looking for a Purchasing Specialist who wants to develop together with us within trenchless pipe renewal – an innovative method for renovating and modernizing pipe networks without extensive excavation work.

About the Purchasing Specialist role

In this role, the main focus is on purchasing and operational support to the business. If needed, you may also support improvement work and system-related questions. You will become part of our production support and work closely with production, suppliers, and internal functions. The role involves close collaboration with the business, and you report to the Head of Production Support.

Responsibilities

The role includes tasks such as:

• Responsible for the purchasing process from needs analysis to ordering
• Contribute to supplier development and cost efficiency
• Handling quotations and drawing up agreements, follow-up, and purchasing data
• Collaboration with production and central functions
• Assist the business in improvement work related to routines and working methods
• Provide support in system-related questions and contribute to the development of internal system solutions with a focus on integrations, data management, and technical improvement.

You will be based at the office in Södertälje with some travel to our various regional offices, projects, and suppliers around the country.

Are you our new Purchasing Specialist?

To thrive in this role, it is important that you are structured, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and thrive in an environment where the pace is sometimes high.

We are looking for you who have the following experience and qualifications:

• Relevant post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, technology, IT, or equivalent work experience considered equivalent
• Experience from the construction or civil engineering industry, preferably within water and wastewater (VA)
• Experience in contracting purchasing and administration
• Good knowledge of contracts and experience in contract interpretation and practical application
• Good computer literacy and very good system understanding
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
