We are now looking for a security clearance specialist with a focus on personnel security for a mission within socially vital operations. This role is suitable for you who have extensive experience with security clearance checks, background investigations, and personnel security according to security protection legislation.

About the Assignment

You will work in a function responsible for supplier security and security-protected procurement. The role involves a special focus on personnel security, where you conduct security clearance checks and background investigations, as well as support the operations with guidance and training.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of personnel security processes and the improvement of working methods in the area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security clearance checks
• Conduct background investigations
• Train and guide within personnel security
• Identify development needs and areas for improvement in personnel security work
• Contribute to structured and quality-assured security protection work

Requirements for the Assignment

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 5 years of work experience in personnel security within the framework of security protection legislation
• At least 5 years of work experience in independently handling security clearance interviews, background checks, assessments, and documentation
• At least 5 years of work experience in conducting background investigations within the framework of security clearance
• At least 2 years of work experience from a government agency, municipality, region, or other publicly governed body
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

Value-Added Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in training, guiding, or advising within personnel security and security clearance
• Experience in developing processes and governing documents within personnel security
• Education in linguistics, interviewing, or equivalent education, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
