We are now looking for personal assistants for a customer living in Uppsala.

About the job as a personal assistant

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your tasks generally involve assisting the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

Tasks:

Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. They can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, household chores, and cooking, to assisting the customer with activities outside the home.

We are looking for you who:

We are looking for someone who is responsible, empathetic, and quick to learn new tasks. You should have good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. If you have previous experience working with people who use breathing aids, it is an advantage. At Särnmark, you always receive an introduction at the customer's home as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly pay. Working hours vary depending on the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays, and weekends.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
