Region Uppsala – Primary Care and Health
Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us, as we adapt our offerings based on the needs of the residents. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services.
We are now looking for a project manager who wants to drive important development work in the area of sexual violence at the youth clinics in Uppsala County.
The youth clinics in Uppsala County belong to the Primary Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. There are a total of 9 youth clinics in the county, and we target young people aged 12–22 who seek help on their own.
The clinics are often located in premises connected to various health centers around the county, but not always. At the clinics, social workers work together with midwives and doctors. We also have nurses and assistant nurses at some of our clinics. Together, we help young people achieve good health physically, mentally, socially, and sexually. We strive to meet every young person respectfully and knowledgeably in a supportive atmosphere.
The youth clinic addresses young people directly and is based on their specific needs. The operations are always carried out on behalf of the young people themselves, with a high degree of flexibility and sensitivity in the meeting with each individual. The position is located at the youth clinic in central Uppsala, which offers modern and pleasant premises with an easily accessible location.
The youth clinic has been awarded a state grant for work in the area of sexual violence. The purpose of the grant is to develop and strengthen care for children and adults who have been exposed to sexual violence by preparing for or establishing clinics or centers within the own region or through cross-regional collaboration to ensure good care for persons who have been exposed to sexual violence or sexual abuse, including in digital environments. Approved project funds finance 4 sub-projects.
In this assignment, you will partly coordinate the activities included overall, and partly lead some of the activities, which among other things involve:
You assist with the reporting and accounting required according to the instructions for the state grant. You work together with the employees in the business area and report the ongoing work to the business manager.
As a project manager at the youth clinic, you work very independently but with support from coordinators, the business manager, and other support functions in Primary Care and Health.
The position includes travel to our clinics in the county, and there is an opportunity to work remotely to some extent.
We are looking for you who are:
Experience of project management and work in the area of sexual violence is meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
The position is a full-time project employment until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension if the state grant is also granted in 2027. The position can be filled as soon as possible.
