About the role

As an Enterprise Architect here, you are responsible for ensuring that the department's architecture is coordinated, sustainable, and supports both business goals and the organization's overarching architecture work. You act as a strategic advisor and ensure that the domain's development adheres to established architecture principles and quality requirements. You are part of a team with other architects, and together you are responsible for developing, lifecycle managing, and governing the architecture within the department.

The team works closely together, providing and receiving support from each other as well as from the agency's central architecture function. You are responsible for the architectural further development of our pharmaceutical services with the goal of improving the daily lives of patients, healthcare staff, and pharmacies. We continuously develop and launch new services and components, offering stimulating architecture assignments and opportunities for professional development.

You belong to the Pharmaceuticals Department and the Service Development Section. The department consists of approximately 150 employees within digital development, service development, and investigation.

About you

We are looking for someone who thrives in collaboration with others and contributes through attentive communication, constructive dialogue, and the ability to handle different perspectives. You work in a structured and self-directed manner by planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work, and taking responsibility for driving your tasks forward within given timeframes. You think strategically and have a good holistic view, enabling you to see long-term consequences and make decisions with the best interests of the entire organization in mind.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An academic degree as a civil engineer, systems scientist, or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience working with IT architecture
• Experience with modeling notations such as ArchiMate and Unified Modeling Language (UML) or other relevant tools
• The ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.

The following are meritorious for the role:

• Experience working in an enterprise architecture function where the organization's strategy and direction are realized architecturally
• Certification(s) in architecture
• Experience with architecture work in portfolio management.

The position is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. The workplace is in Kalmar or Stockholm. The work may involve business travel, primarily between Kalmar and Stockholm.
