Närhälsan Solgärde Health Centre is an established clinic with just over 9,000 registered patients. We have stable staffing, and our team includes medical secretaries, clerks, assistant nurses, nurses, doctors, district nurses, psychologists, and care coordinators/rehabilitation coordinators. The health centre offers doctor and nurse clinics, as well as specialist nurse clinics for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma/COPD. About the Role

As a psychologist at Närhälsan Solgärde Health Centre, you will be offered an exciting and varied position within our team of behavioral scientists. The team will consist of two psychologists and one care coordinator/rehabilitation coordinator working in close collaboration with other professions. Your main tasks will involve conducting psychological assessments and treatments for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health issues. Common conditions among the patients you will see as a psychologist include anxiety, depression, stress-related illnesses, severe crises, pain issues, and PTSD. In addition to clinical work, our psychologists play an important advisory role towards colleagues.

We work according to Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH), which includes high accessibility, stepped care, and collaboration with other professions and care partners. It is important that you have an interest in working based on IBH principles. This means prioritizing high accessibility to psychosocial resources for all residents with mental and behavioral health issues. It also involves working with stepped care, where interventions range from psychoeducation and advice on self-care to guided treatment using literature or internet-based therapy, group therapy, or individual treatment interventions. We meet our patients both physically and digitally. To meet the needs of the entire patient population, you must be able to vary the methods and scope of treatment interventions.

About You

You are a licensed psychologist with a focus on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Other relevant focuses include short-term PDT (Psychodynamic Therapy). Previous experience working as a psychologist at the primary care level, in integrated behavioral health, and stepped care is desirable. Experience with internet-based psychological treatment or group therapies is also a plus.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative and actively wants to participate in the development of the business. You organize and plan your work effectively based on set goals and ensure quality assurance of mental health work at the health centre.

In your work, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are accommodating, receptive, and have a good manner of interaction. About the Recruitment Process

Selection takes place in two steps. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite candidates to a telephone interview. The hiring manager then makes a second selection of applicants and invites them to an interview at the health centre.

We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe as concrete situations as possible and try to avoid generalized answers – this is so we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
