I am a woman in my 50s living in Visby, and I am currently looking for assistants for daytime, evenings, and weekends.

I have diabetes, which is treated with an insulin pump, and a neurological condition that has, among other things, made me wheelchair-bound. I also suffer from chronic nerve pain, cognitive impairment, and various other symptoms.

The job involves helping me with diabetes management (excluding injections), administering medication, being my "arms and legs," performing all usual household chores, accompanying me in the city and nature, helping with the care of my animals, and assisting with contacts with authorities and doctor's visits. You will also be helpful with administrative tasks and certain personal care duties, such as dressing and hygiene.

I am looking for both female and male assistants who are calm and confident, and who view the work as a personal assistant as a serious commitment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and that we "click." Training is provided on the job, and you should be quick to learn new knowledge. Speaking and understanding fluent Swedish is a REQUIREMENT as I have some difficulties with communication.

Since I am sensitive to strong smells, it is very important that you do not wear strong perfumes, smell of smoke, or similar. You should also not be allergic to fur-bearing animals as I have cats and a dog.
