About the job as a personal assistant:

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and on their leisure time. Your workplace is where the client is located, and your overall task is to assist the client so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

Responsibilities:

We are now looking for someone who can add value to a young man's life. Our client is in his final year of high school at a specialized school and is very much looking forward to graduating in June. He is an active young man who plays basketball, bowls, does spinning, and swims. When he is not engaged in activities, he likes to be outdoors and find things to do. Now that it is winter, he enjoys riding a sled in the snow. He is looking for a like-minded assistant. Someone who can join him in all the fun things he wants to do.

We are looking for you who:

We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking person who takes initiative and enjoys social situations. It is a big plus if you are interested in sports and enjoy being outdoors. Since our client needs support in the changing rooms, it is necessary for the assistant to be male. We are looking for someone who is confident, responsible, perceptive, and quick to learn new tasks. Experience with epilepsy and intellectual disability (IF-diagnos) is a merit.

At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction at the client's location as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

About the employment

The employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the wage form is hourly pay. Working hours vary according to the client's needs: 1-2 weekday evenings per week and daytime on weekends. Approximately 2 shifts per week.

Salary and other terms of employment according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
