About the position

We are now looking for personal assistants who want to work for our client in Roma on Gotland. The assignment concerns a woman in her 70s who lives with her husband. The woman has Parkinson's disease, uses a wheelchair, and has communication difficulties. Assistive devices are available on site. As a personal assistant, you help contribute to a safe, meaningful, and functional daily life. The work involves being a support in both daily routines and in the things that make life more enjoyable.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you are a support based on the individual's needs and wishes. The tasks may include, for example:

• Help with personal care
• Support with daily chores at home
• Accompanying to activities, errands, or leisure interests
• Being a social and safe companion in everyday life

The work takes place where the user is – at home or at activities outside the home.

Working hours are from 9:00–17:00 and 17:00–22:00, both weekdays and weekends. We therefore appreciate that you are flexible and available for these working hours. You should be able to start immediately.

Requirements for the position:

• You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• You have a driver's license and access to a car or live nearby
• Ability to work flexible hours

Previous experience in personal assistance or healthcare is meritorious, but personal suitability and attitude are most important. Introduction and possible training are provided. You start the employment with a hourly contract to get to know the client and the tasks better. If the chemistry between you and the client works, there are opportunities to get a permanent schedule.
