About the position

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a man living in Gammelgarn/Katthammarsvik. The position is part-time, approx. 50%, with the possibility of additional work during the summer period. Your duties will include, among other things, supporting with daily routines and accompanying our client in his everyday life. We would appreciate it if you have experience within healthcare and care, and particularly within personal assistance. You must also be smoke- and snuff-free. The client lives in Gammelgarn but works in Visby and has many activities there, so you will also need a B driver's license and access to your own car.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 09:00–09:00 (the next day), Mon–Sun. This involves approx. 5 hours of waiting time/night.

About the client

This young man has a great interest in history and enjoys playing video games, traveling, being out among people, and coming up with things to do. Therefore, we are looking for you who is a cheerful person with a lot of humor, who likes when things happen and contributes to making many things happen during the day. Activities and various adventures make up a large part of the work with this client. If you and our client share the same interests, that is very positive.

About you

We are looking for you who is cheerful, positive, and inventive. You have a creative mind, are musical if possible, and are quick to laugh. You should also be a motivating and empathetic person. You need to have an understanding of healthcare work and be able to take personal responsibility in the job.

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being.

We believe that you who apply for this position are a person who is responsive, flexible, and cooperative. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

Requirements for you

• Hold a B driver's license,
• Have access to your own car,
• Are smoke- and snuff-free,
• Are fur-free (no animal fur in clothing).

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so the order should be placed well in advance.
