Are you looking for a job where you have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone else's daily life? Then the position as a Personal Assistant might be for you.

We are now looking for personal assistants who want to work for our client in Roma on Gotland. The assignment concerns a woman in her 70s who lives with her husband. The woman has Parkinson's disease, uses a wheelchair, and has communication difficulties. Assistive devices are available on site. As a personal assistant, you help contribute to a safe, meaningful, and functional daily life. The work involves being a support in both daily routines and in the things that make life more enjoyable.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you are a support based on the individual's needs and wishes. The tasks may include, for example:

  • Help with personal care
  • Support with household chores
  • Accompanying to activities, errands, or leisure interests
  • Being a social and safe companion in daily life

The work takes place where the user is located – at home or at activities outside the home.

Working hours are 09:00–17:00 and 17:00–22:00, both weekdays and weekends. We therefore appreciate that you are flexible and available for these working hours. There is also the possibility to work shifts with double assistance during the day. You should be able to start immediately.

Who are we looking for?

Requirements for the position:

  • You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • You have a driver's license and access to a car, or live close by and can commute by bus
  • Ability to work with flexible hours

Previous experience in personal assistance or healthcare is meritorious, but personal suitability and attitude are most important. Introduction and training are provided together with experienced staff. You start the employment with a hourly contract to get to know the client and the tasks better. If the chemistry between you and the client works out, there are opportunities for a permanent schedule. We are looking for you who want to work full-time or part-time.
